Hi, Jamie! Great question. I boil potato until it’s cooks thru with a peel on, then peel it after its cooked, then grate it on the grater after it cools off. I hope this helps.

Absolutely delicious. I used Muenster cheese instead of cheddar. And they came out perfect. They really do tastes like traditional jalapeno poppers. Yum. I will be making again!Munchkin Time

Absolutely delish! I air fried mine with some spray oil and it was crispy and delish! I also experimented with egg roll wrapper. It was my favorite!! I cut the wrapper in half and sprayed the wrapper in oil, oh and skipped the bread crumbs. Thank you for the recipe!!!Sam

I cook potato in boiling water, with peel on, until potato turns soft inside when inserted with a knife about 10-15 minutes (depends on the size of the potato). Hope this helps!

Curious about how you grate a cooked potato? How do you cook the potato? Could you use smashed tater tots or thawed hashbrowns?

Same question! I’m not so sure that one could grate a cooked potato while maintaining texture, and I feel like pre-cooking grated potato would give you hash browns.
